What is collected

Order details (name, shipping and billing address, email, items), payment details handled by the payment gateway and never stored on this site, the result of the age-verification check (pass or fail, the verification reference and the date; never the ID image), site analytics, and email preferences. Business accounts that apply for wholesale pricing also provide a company name, a W-9, a resale certificate for the ship-to state and any state hemp retailer registration that state requires.

Why

To fulfill and ship orders, verify that every purchaser is 21 or older as the store requires and several states require, provide customer support, send order and account emails, send marketing email you opted into, approve and maintain wholesale accounts, keep the records state kratom laws, hemp record-keeping rules and payment rules require, and understand how the site is used.

Who it is shared with

The payment gateway (Authorize.net), the age-verification service (AgeChecker.net), the carrier (USPS or UPS), the transactional email service, and the fulfillment party that packs the order: Go North Hemp and its partner brands for hemp orders, and the kratom suppliers for kratom orders. Each receives only what it needs to fill the order. Personal information is never sold. No advertising pixels from Meta, Google or TikTok run on this site.

Text messages

This store does not send text messages and does not collect telephone numbers for marketing.

Cookies

Essential cookies run the cart, the checkout, the session and the age confirmation (es_age_ok, es_session, es_csrf, es_agev). Analytics cookies are set only after the page has loaded and can be blocked by your browser.

Your rights

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and other states with privacy laws may request access, correction or deletion, and may opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information. Retention

Order and age-verification records are kept for the period required by tax rules, payment-network rules and state kratom record-keeping rules. Hemp order records, lab results and licenses are kept for at least three years, the period USPS requires of mailers of hemp products. TODO: counsel to set the overall retention period. Wholesale account documents are kept while the account is open and for the tax record period afterward. Marketing data is deleted on unsubscribe request.
